I know that this novella came with a disclaimer but I still pushed through. But let me make this short. Unfortunately, I had total disconnect while reading this book, whether it was between the H and the h or me and the story as a whole. I almost had a whiplash by the time I got to the end. If this had not been a novella, I probably would've had my first ever DNF.
