Okay. What can I say except that I just couldn't bring myself to fall in love with this book. Don't get me wrong, as this is my second book by JL, the writing is still great. I don't have complaints there.

But I didn't feel the chemistry between the our two protagonists. Like, it felt like I was in a limbo going through the entire book. Do I not like it? Do I like it? Enough? But I seriously got confused because if the characters were written well enough, how can I not feel their connection?

Ugh, so ensues the frustration. I just finished the book because, well, I hardly ever DNF anything. Sigh.


Finale verdict: 4/10. Uhm, points for the cover though.
