The Swedish Prince by Karina Halle
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Ahhh, one of the themes that I will never get tired of is a contemporary royal romance. And this was a great one!
I loved this book from start to finish. I loved the well established characters and their eventually development. Viktor might have been on vacation under a different identity when he met Maggie but I was glad that it didn't dragged on for long and he was outed early on in the story. The nuances of the story might seem over the top--I figured that royal relationships might not start that easily--but it just added to the fantasy that maybe it is.
Yes, the story was not perfect but it provided sufficient entertainment. And who am I to let this one pass me by despite the quite unexpected low reviews? Definitely not letting that Eastwood-y cover pass me by. Nuh-uh.
